AR Childrens Hospital
Well we did not tell anyone but just close family but we took Chief to Ar Children's yesterday we got back great news. Chief's feet turn in and we thought he may need corrective shoes and no one in this area would see him because of his age, so we made the trip down to Little Rock yesterday. The doc said everything is okay his hips do turn in a little causing his feet to turn in but they think he will out grow it to the most part. We did learn something that most NFL football players and track stars are pigeon toed. so maybe we have a football player or track star in the family. Bob's feet turned in a little too but he out grown it and was not as bad as Chief. The doc said that corrective shoes would not work on Chief if it was real bad they would do surgery and put take out part of the ankle bone and put pins in. Anyway we are thanking the good Lord that Chief is not that bad and does not have to go through all that.

Well it is very dark down here on the creek bottom. We are into day 7 without power. I am trying to be understanding since my husband works on line crews with Swpeco but it is very hard right now. Col's show animals are out of water so Dad and I are hauling water starting today. The kids have not seen Jon since Tuesday he comes home long enough to sleep 2-4 hours and is up at 4:45. I should not grip we have been so very blessed through this, sorry I am just down I guess. I do know it takes 3 1/2 hours to cook baked potatoes on top the wood stove and 30-45 min to heat Speg. O's just enough for Chief to be able to eat (yuck I don't know how the kids eat that stuff). We now have the generator up and running at Mom and Dads which has helped so much we just sleep at our house now we had been staying with them. I have pictures of our yard but will have to load later.
