Today was Jon's birthday and it was so nice. Don't get me wrong we are sick of the snow and ready for Spring but Jon is usually gone to work and I am the one who plays in the snow and today or this evening we all played and went sledding and had a snow ball fight. We had so much fun. We also enjoyed some friends of ours and their kids came and ate dinner with us and the kids went sledding. I fixed this pulled pork off of the Pioneer Women cookbook it was so good better than going to any bar b que place i the country that you would have to pay $8.00-10.00 a plate for and I also fixed some of Nana's famous homemade chicken and dumplins. I can remember Grandpa Woods (Nana's dad) that was what he always requested from Nana at Christmas or anytime all the Wood's side of the family got together and now that is Bob and Cheif's favorite. Tomorrow school is out for the kids and I am thinking I may just stay home too. Dad has to go get his leg cleaned and rewrapped and I hate for them to have to take all the kids to the hospital not that they are really that big of a problem but just having to drag them in and out and stuff.

This is Nana and Papa's house looking down from Granny's house. It was about 5:30 or so this evening and the fog was starting to set in I just thought it was pretty.

This is some of neighbors/friends kids that came to eat with us today.

They even got me to sled it was not pretty but it was a lot of fun.

2010 Snow Fun

Well sorry it has been so long since we have wrote on this. Things just get crazy sometimes and I am also sorry I have not posted the rest of the fair pictures. I think I will just start fresh starting today.
This past week we have stayed busy trying to keep Jon up in laundry in case he left out. They had talked about leaving out for Lawton OK but they had to stay close for the storm to hit our area too and after it hit they still did not leave.

So, this weekend he got to have some fun with the kids for a change. He and Rodney (a neighbor) went and took our kids and Rodney's kids sledding down the hill in front of their house. They had so much fun. Bob taught Rodney's kids to sled down the front stepps and then on down the hill. I guess my children have no fear Rodney and his wife will not want their boys running around with our children much. Jon brought Cheif back early his little hands got too cold and he had to come warm up.
