The weekend Dutches had strep that Sunday night she asked the Lord to be her Savior! We were so excited. She has not talked to Pastor Steve or anyone yet and we are not sure when that will happen yet. Bob was saved at the age of 5 and he had went to Bible School at a small country church out here where we live, but he did not get baptised until he was 9. People have asked us why we waited but we did not want him to think any of us had pressured him into this decision. Jon and I are still talking about what to do with Dutches. Anyway whatever we do we are still excited for her. She told Jon and I "its a new me" and yes she is so right.Sunday, January 25, 2009
We are so Happy about Dutches
The weekend Dutches had strep that Sunday night she asked the Lord to be her Savior! We were so excited. I am so excited for her!!! Deborah has a Powersteps class coming up. Marley waited several years before being baptized. But she was ready after taking the class.
congrats to your beauty!! Ethan accepted Christ last year, but we are waiting until he really understands the significance of baptism. I had hoped that my Papaw, who is a pastor, would be able to baptize him, but that may not be possible now...
